Course Description
Algebra 2 Regular is designed to develop the mathematical concepts and methods necessary for follow-on courses in finite mathematics, statistics, and algebra 3/trigonometry. Topics covered include equations and inequalities, linear equations and functions, linear systems and matrices, quadratic functions and factoring, polynomials and polynomial functions, rational exponents and radical functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational functions, quadratic relations and conic sections.
Supplies Needed
Internet access and a device (cell phone, iPad, laptop, etc.) that can be used to access Google Classroom on a daily basis, earbuds/headphones, TI-84 graphing calculator, 1.5” 3-ring binder, notebook paper, package of file tab dividers, one 8.5 x 11 Mead 5 Star 1 subject spiral bound notebook, 1 pack of spiral bound notecards, red pens, pencils, and graph paper. Supplies are expected to be brought to each class and all must be purchased by the end of the first week of school.
